WHY TEETH WHITENING?

People choose to get teeth whitening for various reasons, including:

Stained or discolor teeth: Teeth can become discolored due to various factors, such as certain foods, and drinking regularly (Coffee, tea, coffee, red wine), Smoking, aging, or past poor oral hygiene. Teeth whitening can help remove the stains and restore a brighter, more youthful appearance to the teeth. Whiter teeth can significantly improve one's smile and overall appearance. Many people desire a brighter smile to boost their self-confidence. As people age their teeth naturally tend to become less white due to the enamel thinning and dentin darkening.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This treatment involves applying a highly concentrated bleaching agent, typically containing a hydrogen peroxide, directly to the teeth. We use a special light to activate the bleaching agent to enhance its effectiveness. This is typically completed in a single visit, and the results are immediate and noticeable.

At Beyond Brows Permanent Cosmetics, we are dedicated to providing our clients with the highest level of safety and satisfaction. We understand the importance of proper preparation prior to any procedure, which is why we provide a comprehensive pre-treatment consultation and guidelines along with full aftercare instructions to ensure the best results.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Schedule a dental check up to ensure your teeth and gums are healthy and suitable for teeth whitening.

  • Limit or avoid your consumption of staining substances, like coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco, and dark colored foods for a few days before the whitening session. This allows the whitening treatment to be even more effective.

  • If you have a history of tooth sensitivity, a desensitizing toothpaste used the week prior to a treatment, and after may help manage the potential sensitivity to the treatment.
