LASER TATTOO REMOVAL

The Enlighten 3 Laser is the first machine approved by the FDA to use both nano and pico second pulse durations and we have it right here at our studio! Full tattoo removal at Beyond Brows is usually completed in just 4-6 treatments with no burning or scarring caused to the skin instead of 12-16 treatments at other facilities with older, inferior equipment. For darker tattoos we have seen it take as few as 6- 8 treatments to be completed. This means your laser tattoo removal with the Enlighten 3 Laser will be efficient, cost-effective, and require 30-40% fewer treatments than the current Q-switch and Pico lasers being offered in our area.

WHO IS A CANDIDATE?
Anyone who has a tattoo that they do not like or no longer wish to have can have laser tattoo removal! The Enlighten 3 laser has the ability to work on different skin types due to the ability to change the wavelength to target several colors during one session. Because this machine has multiple wavelengths of color, it has the ability to remove a broader range of colors, such as greens and blues that are harder to remove with older treatment technology.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We get asked a lot about what to expect during laser tattoo removal and the best answer is: it varies for each individual and each situation. We go over what to expect one-on-one with each client as it truly is a case-by-case experience. Smaller removals differ from larger removals as well as the location and how each person's body reacts to the procedure. On average, you could expect temporary mild Erethyma (redness of the skin) and tenderness at the treatment area for a few days. Rest assured, our experienced team takes great care to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. HEALING TIME
The healing time for laser tattoo removal with the Enlighten 3 Laser is generally 2-4 weeks and will vary on a case by case basis. On average you can expect to have redness and tenderness at the treatment area for a few days.
POST TREATMENT CARE
It is extremely important to take care of your skin after your procedure to ensure the best results. How well you take care of the treatment area is your responsibility. In order to see the best results following your treatment, we recommend carefully following the instructions below.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

You may cool the treatment area with an ice pack or cold gel pack for increased comfort if necessary.

Avoid sun exposure for 2 to 4 weeks following treatment and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Dress the area with Aquaphor or a simple, petroleum jelly and cover it with a bandage. The dressing should be changed at least once a day or after a shower during the first three days following treatment. Always remember prior to removing the dressing to wash your hands with soap and water. After you carefully remove the dressing, gently cleanse the area with soap and water, and pat dry with a clean towel or a disposable towel.

Avoid skin irritant products containing (tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents etc.) until the skin is fully healed and the crusting has completely resolved.

Try not to bump or stretch the freshly treated tattoo.

Do Not pick at any scabs, and avoid scrubbing the treated area when bathing or showering.

Do Not open blisters if they would occur. If the blisters are uncomfortable, contact your doctor.

Only Non-aspirin, over-the-counter pain medication, such as acetaminophen should be taken for discomfort directly after the laser treatment.
Scabbing over the treated area is also expected and may last up to 7 to 10 days. If this occurs do not pick up the scabs and avoid scrubbing the treated area when bathing or showering. Gently cleanse the area with soap and water and pat dry with a clean or a clean disposable towel. All normal activities may be resumed immediately after treatment as long as the skin is protected from UV light.

Contact the office, if any of the following would occur:

Bleeding that soaks the dressing or bleeding that happens after the first 24 hours after treatment.

Uncomfortable blisters

Yellowish or greenish drainage from the treatment area

Persistent pain that lasts more than 24 hours

Fever
