RF MICRONEEDLING
Radio Frequency Microneedling, also known as RF micro needling, or RF collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that combines the benefits of traditional Microneedling with radio frequency energy. It is a treatment used to improve the appearance of the skin by stimulating collagen production and promoting skin rejuvenation.

With our machine, Secret RF by Cutera, we can achieve incredible results! The radio frequency energy is delivered into the deeper layers of the skin through the Microneedling is generating high heat and causing thermal injury. This controlled thermal energy helps to tighten the skin, improve skin, texture, and tone, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin imperfections.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The day of your treatment, the area that we will be treating will be cleansed and the numbing cream or local anesthetic will be applied to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. A handheld device with tiny sterile needles will be applied to the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries. The depth of the needles and the intensity of the radio frequency energy will be adjusted throughout the procedure based on your specific needs and goals.
You may experience some mild discomfort during the treatment, which can range from a mild tingling sensation to a slightly more uncomfortable sensation which most clients describe as tiny little rubber band snaps in the more delicate areas. As the radio frequency energy is delivered into the skin, you may feel a warm sensation. This is completely normal and indicates that the treatment is effectively stimulating collagen production. The duration of the treatment can vary on the size of the area being treated, but it typically takes 30 minutes to an hour for the actual procedure itself.

HEALING TIME
The healing time is very limited as you can resume normal activities the same day or the following day. You may, however, experience redness and swelling for up to 3 days after treatment. Any remaining visible effects of the treatment can easily be covered with makeup by this time and will soon fade.
HOW DO I PREPARE?

We understand the importance of proper preparation prior to any skin procedure, which is why we provide a comprehensive pre-treatment consultation and guidelines along with full aftercare instructions to ensure the best results.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

The area to be treated should be free of makeup. There should be no rashes or infections on the areas being treated.

Discontinue tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, Glycolic/salicylic acid, and astringents for 2-3 days prior to treatment.

Excess hair may need to be shaved. All men should come cleanly shaved.
​

If you have a history of cold, sores, or fever blisters in the area to be treated, an antiviral should be taken the day before the procedure.
CARING FOR YOUR SKIN
It is extremely important to take care of your skin after your procedure to ensure the best results. How well you take care of it is your responsibility and will affect the results. In order to see the best results following your procedure, we recommend carefully following the instructions below.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wait at least four hours post-treatment to wash or apply your own creams/serums/moisturizers and makeup to the skin being treated.

Avoid heat, such as hot tubs or saunas for 1 to 2 days

Avoid excess sun exposure and always use a good broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen to prevent further sun damage.

Bruising, redness, swelling, or a grid pattern may be visible and will resolve with time. More aggressive treatments, or use of irritants in the days prior to, or after the treatment can lead to longer downtime.

Avoid use of Tretinoin, retinol's, benzoyl, peroxide, glycolic or salicylic acid's, harsh astringents for a few days after treatment.
