WHO IS A CANDIDATE?

WHAT TO EXPECT
We get asked a lot about what to expect during laser procedures and the best answer is: it varies for each individual and each situation. We go over what to expect one-on-one with each client as it truly is a case-by-case experience. For one specific treatment area such as the face the typical treatment time is approximately 20 minutes. If you combine treatment areas such as the face and neck, it would be approximately 30- 40 minutes. There is no downtime for healing after this type of procedure.

HEALING TIME
There is no healing time for this procedure, however, there are a few guidelines below that must be followed in order to eliminate skin irritation.
POST TREATMENT CARE
It is extremely important to take care of your skin after your procedure to ensure the best results. How well you take care of the treatment area is your responsibility. In order to see the best results following your treatment, we recommend carefully following the instructions below.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid sun exposure for 2 to 4 weeks following treatment and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Avoid skin irritant products for 2-3 days containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents etc.

Avoid heat, hot tubs, and saunas for 1-2 days.

Blisters resolve quickly if they occur.

You may experience some mild edema and swelling for 2 to 3 hours after the procedure. Many patients may get a light rash that typically responds well to over-the-counter hydrocortisone. You may want to take a Benadryl before you go to sleep the night of the treatment as well to avoid the light rash.
